Usb 3.0
Again as we are seeing the advancements in technology diurnal, we now have latest USB 3.0.
The first USB was developed in 1996 for simply managing the connections between the CPU and the peripherals. Success knocked with the launch of USB 2.0 , it has a data transfer rate of 480 Mbps. But this data rate was simply not enough that is the reason why USB 3.0 exists and also it promises a tenfold increase in data transfer rate of 5 Gbps.
Some of the promoters of it are :-
Microsoft, Texas instruments, HP, Intel ….etc.
The only hardware which supports USB is uPD 720200. It is a chip that is a must for USB 3.0 to function.
USB 3.0 is absolutely harmonious with older USB devices. This was made possible due to latest TYPE A socket which is usually available in our PCs and notebooks.
Also there are a few surrogates to it in comparison. I came across two the are:-
Express cards and Firewire 3200
They have a DTR of 2.5 GBps and 3.2 Gbps respectively but both lack at the point on compatibility.
Finally how tenacious is it in market …
As we all know that the DTR of 5 Gbps will soon fall short due to the HD and 3d video becoming very common so USB 3.0 might not have a consistent stay in market. To the top it Intel is working on a optical interface project named “light peak” wich promises a DTR of 10Gbps and will be in market by the end of 2010.

iPAD

Limiltations in Apple ipad
The greatest revolution in the field of technology was introduced with the invention of ipod. Then came the iphone which was another great invention by Apple ,and now we have the latest ipad. But being human we have a tendency of resisting what is new and comparing it with others. So here are some flaws that we find in ipad.
They are:-
1. ipad is an extended oversized version of iphone in which we can’t make calls.
2. There are no ports for USB and external HDDs.
3. The cost as compared to these types of devices is very high.
4. No multitasking.
5. No camera.
